Earth Moving Operations Along Route One		Site Drainage

Project Description:
Major expansion of existing Gillette Stadium satellite parking facilities included 4,500 new paved parking spaces, and new drainage, lighting, and access roadways.  Approximately 180,000  cubic yards of earth was moved, including 55,000 cubic yards of bedrock. The bedrock was blasted, processed onsite, and reused for gravel surfaces. 7,000 linear feet of drainage pipe and 2 stormwater retention systems were needed on this 48 acre site. Other work included 17,000 linear feet of underground electric conduit, major lighting systems, and two new pedestrian tunnels. All work was completed on a fast track schedule of 16 weeks.
