Project Description:
30 ft Deep Braced Excavation for Harvard University Residential Parking Garage.  The proposed 300ft x 100ft garage is to be sandwiched between a 100+ year old Cambridge brick sewer main line, and a highly sensitive Harvard steam tunnel. The tight space required a one sided form system for wall placement, with 3 levels of internal cross lot bracing. A detailed bracing removal sequence required complex design coordination with the structural engineer and concrete contractor.
